The Wadi Course, fully opened in 1996, adds further interest, with superbly positioned water hazards and desert rough. The 14th hole, water bordering its entire 512 yards length, demands accuracy to reach the elevated green for a chance of a par. The 17th, dominated by the rock and water-filled gully or Wadi that gives the course its name, is one of the most interesting holes at the Emirates, with thick rough and pot hunkers guarding the green to make this par 3 a real challenge.
